STRUCTURE DEMOLITION

Earth Technology has the resources for performing all aspects of site preparation and demolition. Using our own forces, all demolition preparation is performed. Depending on the previous uses of a facility, the preparation scope of work can vary dramatically. This may involve Hazardous Materials removal, Tank removal, Chemical Decontamination, Landclearing and/or many other tasks. The pre-demolition planning always includes a demolition plan and recyclable materials maximization plan.

Using our inventory of late model equipment Earth Technology has performed demolition services on more than 150 buildings. Earth Technology is currently in the process of performing all decontamination and demolition of a 22-acre chemical plant in Newark, New Jersey.

Structural Demolition & Hazardous Material Abatement

For a recent facility demolition project, Earth Technology performed a surficial clean up of all structures to be demolished in an effort to remove contaminated and hazardous materials found to be present. During the performance of the decontamination operations, in excess of 30,000 gallons of contaminated and hazardous liquids and sludge were disposed.

Also at this facility, Earth Technology provided all services for the Asbestos and Lead Abatement in order to prepare for the demolition of the 50,000 square foot facility. All demolition was executed utilizing our own labor & equipment. Additionally, all concrete removal was segregated by waste stream classification for the minimization of the disposal of environmentally impacted quantities.
